The steps to Community

It all begins with studios. In a day and age when art and spaces for artists feel under attack we are trying to bridge that gap.

The goal for phase one it to see 14 studio spaces at 5X7’ built and filled for artists to build the foundation for our community.

Once built we will be looking to have people who want to work in their spaces frequently, speak with their peers and be champions for this little community.

This is the stage where we will need two things. First the non-profit status, to collect large scale funds which are then utilized to purchase tools for the space and other cosmetic things we need we need that status. Secondly we need you, money is a hard subject but the truth of it is this world goes round by spending money. To get us off the ground, and into a place to serve artists we will need monetary help.

Filling the space, with tools, with bodies, with classes and joy and laughter.

When we will need people to become shop stewards, to teach or monitor classes, want to lead clubs and sessions. To help with organizing and cleaning.
